Dear Locks of Love, you've got a ginger ponytail on its way! Thank you to Holly Huffman of Shades of Naples Salon in Long Beach for making me look so great after the chop! And whoever gets my hair, I hope that it makes you feel better!!!

10 inches lifted quite a weight off my shoulders, and it's for such a great cause ;-) I highly recommend trying it!

If you ever have the chance to participate in one of the J-Gurlz Gospel Brunch events, hosted by celebrity makeup artist Joanna Schlip, don't pass on the chance! The J-Gurlz Foundation benefits young women and girls, keeping them off the streets and involved in their communities. It's a wonderful cause, and the events are a blast!

Guests were entertained by the greatest of gospel groups, the House of Blue Gospel Group, as well as singer Alissa Moreno, who sang her mega-hit from Army Wives, "Far From Here." VIP gift bags were stocked with makeup essentials by Physician's Formula, and bronzing Kona Tanning Products. All in all, it was an affair to remember!!
